どうやら、僕の中で音楽と絵画は密接に繋がっているようです。
脳内の映像をキャンバスに落とし込むとき、僕は音楽を聴きません。
絵を描いていると新しいアイディアやメロディーが生まれるからです。
キャンバスに向かうと、感情がダイレクトに表現されることに驚きます。
音楽においてもっとも大切なことは、小手先の技術ではなくシンプルで力強いメロディーだということを絵画は教えてくれます。

I do not listen to music because new sounds are born when I am drawing. It seems there is a strong connection between composing and drawing.
Since my childhood, I've been playing music picturing some abstract images in my brain.
It was too ordinary for me to project those images in my brain into canvas by using colors.
Working on canvas without proper technique brought me great surprise to find that emotion is expressed in so direct way.
I've cultivated skill and accumulated experience to express those sounds came in my thought.
However, drawing teaches me that the most essential things in composing music is not such a technique but something simple and strong sound.
